Our Boer Cross, Meat Goats keep our mini- farm grazed down to a manageable level for us and our dogs.
Our Goats usually have their kids in late winter/early spring. The kids grow out to about 70-90 lbs and then Dan takes them to market in the Fall. We usually break even as far as feed costs go but they help us save money on labor, fuel and larger grass cutting equipment we would need if we didn't have them to keep our grass, bushes, and weeds eaten down.
Hope you enjoy our pictures of this years Kid Crop.
